Trent's Tour de ADRA Challenge
Story
Every child deserves an education right? In some countries education is not just a privilege but at times dangerous. For albino children in Africa, poverty and disease is just one hardship they have to face. There is a belief in African culture that albinos have 'magical powers' that bring wealth and healing. The sad reality is albino children in Africa are hunted like animals for their body parts, often horrifically maimed and even sometimes killed - there are even cases where albino children are sold by their desperately poor parents, fetching sums of up to $75,000.
In all this madness, there is hope. I am raising money for boarding schools in Tanzania which provides a safe haven for albino children - however dangers are still ever present. This is where I and ADRA Australia come in with the London to Paris charity bike ride. We are committed to raising funds for The SAFE Project to build walls around the school compounds and provide a covered play area so these kids can play outside, protected from the harsh African sun.
Education and a safe environment to play, learn and live - isn't that what all kids deserve? Below are links to videos of these peoples plight and well worth watching:

100 percent of funds raised go towards this project - I am paying for my flights, food and accommodation. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Every dollar counts - thank you for your generosity!
